This one's been an absolute belter to produce but I'm impressed with what's been achieved. It was my aim to make a real drum n bass tune and I think that's what actually happened.

This one's taken me a while but I'm pretty happy with what I've managed to achieve.

I thought it was about time I started fusing a couple of my own ideas together rather than continuing to latch on to other people's old and rather shabby-looking genres. If all goes well, I should hopefully find myself making a lot more eastern-themed compositions that tie into a contrasting funk / hip-hop scene.

Specific, you might say, but I think I can really rinse this theme for what it's worth. Stay tuned and i'll let you know when new material's up.

OH, which reminds me... I have started to actually do some work on the website at last so hopefully, it might actually be worth visiting soon.

I had a personal site I once used but it quickly fell into disrepair as I found I had practically nothing of any interest to upload to it.

I've decided that to further promote myself online, it is only right for me to construct the website again from scratch and host most of my music on it preferably alongside a layout that is pleasing to the eye and many other interesting features.

Unfortunately, I know relatively fuck-all about HTML, CSS, Javascript or anything else web design related.

It is for this reason that I have officially declared www.lampeight.com under construction. Hopefully I'll be able to get it up and running soon but it's a basic stand-in page for now.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know the standing of the domain and you should check back soon for any updates.

I felt bad that my profile had to keep reminding me to make a news post so I decided that I might as well go ahead and post my first one.

Well, what can I say? I'm 17, UK-based music production student. My main styles are house and electro but I sometimes drift into hip/trip-hop and breakbeat when I feel like producing something with a bit more vibe to it.

I'll be releasing most of my work here on Newgrounds for use in flash submissions or just for general browsing and downloading. Let me know if you want any alterations made to my tracks for creative purposes and i'll be happy to oblige.
